Borrowing

At the front desk you can not only borrow and return books, but also

• Laptops for use in the library
• USB sticks to be used with the book scanner
• Accessories for the group working rooms (beamer cables, pens for whiteboards, etc.)

In addition, our staff will be happy to support and help you with your questions and needs! If you are looking for assistance with specific subjects, you can also make an individual appointment with our subject librarians via library@cats.uni-heidelberg.de.

The General lending conditions as well as other regulations of the Heidelberg University Library apply to our lending services.

Please note:

HEIDI: select "Branch library CATS"

When using the library catalogue HEIDI, if you wish to pick up or use media in the CATS library, please do not forget to select "Centre for Asian and Transcultural Studies (CATS)" as branch library in the upper right tab in HEIDI. With the default setting "Hauptbibliothek Altstadt", your book orders will be delivered to the Main Library in the Old Town.
